The Transportation Science Division at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) invites applications for a 3-year fully funded PhD position to work on optimization frameworks for integrating equity and efficiency in transportation planning.
The PhD position is part of an alliance project between the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Cornell University. The project will adopt an interdisciplinary approach integrating concepts from operations research, transport modeling, welfare economics and transport justice. The candidate will be based at DTU (located near Copenhagen) and will visit Cornell University for a fully funded one semester research stay.
We are seeking candidates with a background in transportation science/economics, operations research, applied mathematics or allied field.
